We design and manufacture Land Rover Defender Differential Guards. Diff guards protect vehicle differentials from rock and tree root damage, etc. Fits all standard Land Rover axles front or rear – all Defenders 90, 110, 130, series II/III, Discovery and Range Rover Classic. We have Heavy Duty 5mm thick versions and standard 3mm versions – although we are now only selling the 3mm on eBay, and the 5mm here.
High tensile carbon steel with high quality zinc galvanised plating. High strength construction with superior clean welding laser-cut. Very easy to fit without any drilling, and it can be transferred to other vehicles. The kits include two 8 mm x 70 mm cylindrical allen key bolts with heavy gauge zinc plating and two self-locking nuts with nylon inserts.

WARNING: As this bonnet is made of much lighter GRP (Fibreglass), it is not as strong as the steel Land Rover bonnets. Therefore we advise that during use, please be careful when you shut the bonnet and do not slam it shut.
- Suitable for all Defenders - Puma TDCi, TD5, 200/300Tdi.
- PLEASE NOTE: This Defender Puma bonnet is made of GRP with black gel coat (RAL 9005) as standard but will require suitable preparation - some filling, priming and final painting. Do not oven bake your paint finish. We do not recommend just fitting it as is.
- This aftermarket Land Rover Defender Puma Bonnet is made of Glass Reinforced Plastic with steel fixtures for the original fasteners; it is durable and flexible for heavy use.
- Our scooped bonnet with mesh design allows cooling airflow through the mesh but rain is directed to the sides away from the engine block.
- It is light-weight compared to original aluminium Defender bonnets - the net weight is 15KG.
- Noise transmission is much less than the aluminium versions. It will reduce the engine noise.
Important note for Defender 200TDi owners
This coolant tank pointed to above, needs to be moved away from the side of the wings so that it does not impede the movement of the bonnet. We recommend that you use a U-Shaped bracket shown in the photo above to space out the coolant tank so the bonnet can correctly shut.

Bonnet Stay Kit
If you are upgrading your bonnet from a 200TDi/300TDi with the scissor bonnet stay to a GRP PUMA bonnet you will need this stay kit as your old bonnet stay will not be compatible. TD5 bonnets may also have this PUMA stay kit, so just check what you have already.
