We sell Land Rover Defender Snorkel Kits (also known as a Raised Air Intake). Snorkels protect engines from the damaging effects of water, dust and sand encountered in touring and off-roading.

Snorkel kit versions for Land Rover Defender 200TDI (left hand fitting kit) and 300TDI, TD5 and TDCI Puma (right hand fitting kit). Snorkel Kits are original Land Rover part number STC50265. For the 300TDI, TD5 and Puma we supply a right-hand bracket.

Roll-cage Snorkel – We also make a Defender Snorkel Kit version for Defenders with roll cages – the lower fitting is different to standard as it protrudes slightly more to accommodate for the position of the roll-cage tubing. The Masai Land Rover Defender Roll Cage Snorkel Kit is available for left hand side 200TDI and right hand 300TDI, TD5 and TDCI Puma.

Masai "Fire and Ice" style Tubular Side Steps for Defender 90 and 110 (1983 to 2016)

  • Sold as a pair.
  • Made from heavy duty steel, zinc coated and phosphate painted for longer lasting rust protection.
  • Painted with a black powder coat in a satin finish.
  • Attractive "Masai" branded tread plate, made of rubber and brushed aluminium. Choice of various colours. (ORANGE LOGO IS REMOVABLE, as it is just a coloured metal plate under the main plates)
  • Easy to fit DIY (Instructions supplied, see link below)
  • Attaches with bolts and no drilling is required.
  • Clamps to the chassis outriggers.
  • Not an original Land Rover Part.
  • NOTE: the 110 2 door version needs an extra bracket, hence the higher price.
  • Fire and Ice Side Steps for 90 will also fit the older version 300 TDI defenders with the fuel tank on the side.
