We sell Land Rover Defender Snorkel Kits (also known as a Raised Air Intake). Snorkels protect engines from the damaging effects of water, dust and sand encountered in touring and off-roading.
Snorkel kit versions for Land Rover Defender 200TDI (left hand fitting kit) and 300TDI, TD5 and TDCI Puma (right hand fitting kit). Snorkel Kits are original Land Rover part number STC50265. For the 300TDI, TD5 and Puma we supply a right-hand bracket.
Roll-cage Snorkel – We also make a Defender Snorkel Kit version for Defenders with roll cages – the lower fitting is different to standard as it protrudes slightly more to accommodate for the position of the roll-cage tubing. The Masai Land Rover Defender Roll Cage Snorkel Kit is available for left hand side 200TDI and right hand 300TDI, TD5 and TDCI Puma.
Defender Sound Deadening & Insulation
Masai4x4 sells a range of vehicle Sound Deadening and Heat and Cold Proofing Insulation sheets. Although we mainly sell Land Rover Defender products, these sheets can be used on a wide range of vehicles, and other applications. Sound Deadening & Insulation sheets improve the thermal efficiency of your vehicle - so warmer in winter, cooler in summer. They also reduce resonance, rattling, vibrations and the noise level from outside, i.e. from the road, tyres, engine, exhaust. In addition, they help to improve the sound quality of your audio system.
