VAT / Sales Tax

If delivery is to a European Union country then VAT will be charged. If outside the European union VAT zone, VAT will NOT be charged on the final page of the checkout. Our website will automatically detect the country you are shopping from and show you prices accordingly with or without VAT/Sales Tax.

Cancellations, Order Changes and Refunds – Delivery Inside the European Union

Order Changes
If you wish to change an order, or alter your shipping address and we have NOT despatched your goods yet, please immediately email (info@masai4x4.com) or phone us (+44 1543 254 507) to let us know.

Your Rights as a Consumer – Delivery Inside the European Union
In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, if delivery is within the European Union you have a 14 calendar day “Cooling off period” from receiving your items in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a refund. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling your purchase. We are obliged to refund your payment within 10 days of receiving the goods back in a saleable condition. Refunds are strictly subject to the following conditions, please read carefully:

How to Cancel Within the 14 day Cooling Off Period – Delivery Inside the European Union
Should you ‘change your mind’ and wish to cancel your purchase within the 14 day “cooling off period”, please email (info@masai4x4.com) or call us. All returns must be pre-authorised by completing the masai4x4 product returns form. You will be required to return the unused goods by recorded delivery, registered post, or preferably by courier, at your own cost. Please remember to give us your name and address, and a copy of your purchase receipt. It is the customer responsibility to arrange a return pickup for you via courier such as UPS/FedEx/TNT/Parcelforce/Parcel2go etc when returning items. Cancellations occurring after the 14 day “cooling off period” will not include a refund for shipping costs.

Refunds for Unwanted Goods – Delivery Inside the European Union
Providing that the unwanted goods are received back by us in an unused, unopened and resale-able condition we will refund your full payment for the goods including initial shipping fees. This does not apply if special delivery is requested, e.g Next Day Delivery, Saturday delivery or AM delivery.

All returns are subject to a physical inspection. Returns are not permitted for products that we have custom made for you which includes for example painting or adaption. Orders placed by credit or debit card on our website will be refunded via PayPal or directly onto your credit / debit card. For phone orders we will require your card details again to issue a refund with our card machine. These refunds will be made within 10 days on return of the goods.

Legal Compliance – Delivery Inside the European Union
This returns policy is in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive which came into force in June 2014 and is part of EU law. This law applies to all transactions within the EU where a consumer does not meet the vendor.

Consequential Loss

Masai/Omega Automotive will not be responsible for (i) losses that were not caused by any breach on our part, or (ii) any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure), or (iii) any indirect or consequential losses that were not foreseeable to both you and us when the contract for the sale of products by us to you was formed.

The laws of some countries do not allow some or all of the limitations described above. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above limitations may not apply to you and you might have additional rights.

Nothing in these conditions limits or excludes our responsibility for fraudulent representations made by us or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your right to have the products sent to you within a reasonable time.

Modifying A Vehicle

Masai/Omega Automotive cannot accept any liability regarding the supply or fitting of its products in respect of vehicle modifications. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure that fitting of any products supplied by Masai/Omega Automotive does not (i)invalidate any vehicle manufacturer’s warranty that may be in force, (ii) complies with local laws and (iii) any required declarations regarding modification are made to your motor insurer.

Damaged Items – Delivery Inside the European Union

We ask all our customers to please inspect their orders upon delivery, the same day, and verify you are happy and that everything is in order.

If you feel your items were damaged during transit via UPS/FedEx, (for example, the box has obvious signs of damage, close to where an item was placed inside) please contact us as soon as possible as our courier companies need to be informed of damage in transit within 24 hours.

You will need to send us high quality photographs of the damage via e-mail.

Where the fitting of parts/ products has been undertaken by Masai/Omega Automotive and has been found to be defective, Masai/Omega Automotive will undertake the appropriate repair/ replacement at our Lichfield factory only. Any repairs/ replacement are subject to proper inspection.

In the event parts/ products are damaged during any fitting or installation not undertaken by Masai/Omega Automotive by no refund will be given.


VAT / Sales Tax

If delivery is to a country outside the European Union the VAT / Sales Tax will NOT be charged on the final page of the checkout. Prices will be shown without VAT, as our website detects the country you are shopping from. However, you may be charged import customs duties in your own country.

Customs Duties

If delivery is outside the European Union, we supply customs forms and the receiver of the goods is liable for import duties, if any; not all countries will charge this. It is payable to the courier company or customs office in the receiver’s country. We have no way of knowing what the duty amount will be. You need to check with our country’s customs authority.

You need to pay the customs duties, if any, before you can receive your package. If you DO NOT pay the duties, the package may be returned to us and we will have to charge you for shipping once again, plus a repackaging fee. Items held by customs are at your risk. Refunds will only be provided for items returned in condition suitable for resale.

Cancellations, Order Changes and Refunds – Outside the European Union

IMPORTANT: If delivery is to a country outside the EU you cannot have a refund if you change your mind AFTER we have shipped your items.

Therefore, do not purchase from us if in any doubt about usage, sizes, colours, suitability – call us to discuss first. Even after being advised by us, AFTER we have shipped you are NOT entitled to cancel or claim a refund should you change your mind.

If you wish to cancel or change an order, and we have NOT shipped yet, you should immediately phone us on +441543 254 507. Contact us if in doubt about a purchase.

Damaged Items (In Transit)

We ask all our customers to please inspect their orders upon delivery, the same day, and verify you are happy and that everything is in order.

If you feel your items were damaged during transit via UPS/FedEx/TNT/DPD etc, (for example, the box has obvious signs of damage, close to where an item was placed inside) please contact us as soon as possible as our courier companies need to be informed of damage in transit within 24 hours.

You will need to send us details of the damage via our Masai4x4 product returns form.

Faulty or Defective Items

We ask all our customers to please thoroughly inspect their orders upon delivery, the same day, and verify you are happy and that everything is in order.

You are free to exchange defective goods within 21 days of your delivery date. Please report to us as soon as possible via our masai4x4 product returns form.  (NOTE: We cannot accept items returned that have been altered, I.E painted from original colour, or edited permanently.)

We will then arrange for a pickup of your goods, upon return and proper inspection of your items we will send you out a replacement.

If a replacement is urgent, we will ask you to pay for another item. Once we have received your first set of items, upon confirmation of defect or courier damage, this cost will be refunded PLUS return delivery charge.

However, if it is found that your items are in perfect condition and able to be fit etc (We will provide photo evidence to you), we will then return the items back to you, and you’ll need to pay an additional shipping fee for the return.
