Fitting Tips

The design of this light bar enables 2 methods of fitting. There are two sets of holes in the light bar bracket. A set on the top (for use with method 1) and a set on the bottom (for use with method 2). The 2 sets of holes have not been designed to match with each other..

Method 1

The "clamp-on" systems uses a combination of a rubber block and securing bolts that secures the lightbar in place as the bolts are tightened. Due to the variance in gutter dimensions across different years and models, the rubber block may need to be cut with a Stanley Knife to fit.

Method 2

We recommend in cases where light bars are fitted with heavy lights, that a mechanical solution is applied to secure the light bar in place. This will require using the 2 holes on the bottom section of the light bar and drilling 2 holes into the gutter itself before securing with bolts (Not Supplied).
