Rear Axle Bump Stop Collision Plate for Land Rover Defender
Protect your axle casing and maintain suspension safety with our heavy-duty Rear Axle Bump Stop Collision Plates. These plates provide the vital contact point for the chassis-mounted rubber bump stops, preventing the suspension from over-compressing and protecting the axle from direct metal-to-metal impact during heavy articulation or load carrying.
Structural Reinforcement Over time, the original collision plates are prone to severe corrosion and "thinning" due to their location, which traps mud and road salt. Once rusted through, the bump stop can no longer function correctly, risking damage to the axle casing and shock absorbers. Our replacement plates are manufactured from high-grade, heavy-gauge steel, offering a significantly more robust surface than the factory originals.
