Originally designed for premium marine applications, this sleek, low-profile horizontal entry gland is the industry standard for routing external electrical cables into a vehicle's cabin, roof space, or canopy.
It is the perfect installation solution for roof-mounted solar panels, heavy-duty LED light bars, auxiliary lighting, or roof rack communications equipment.
Guaranteed Watertight Engineering Traditional plastic gland boxes are bulky, prone to UV cracking, and rely on messy silicone sealants that fail over time. The Scanstrut DS-H10 relies entirely on mechanical sealing. It features a tapered internal rubber bung that compresses tightly around the cable, paired with a closed-cell, waterproof base gasket.
Tested and rated to both IPX6 and IPX7 (and IP68 compliant), it is guaranteed to withstand high-pressure washdowns, driving rain, and even temporary submersion without a single drop of water ingress.
Marine-Grade Durability Built to survive the harshest outdoor conditions, the outer dome-shaped housing is constructed from high-impact, 30% glass-filled nylon. This material is completely UV-stabilized, meaning it will not warp, fade, or become brittle from constant sun exposure. All provided installation hardware is made from marine-grade 316 stainless steel to ensure rust-free performance for life.

Installation Note: To ensure a flawless fit, use the provided drilling template to mark your mounting holes.
