We have both genuine OEM Land Rover Puma Bonnets made of aluminium (part number BKA710140), and cheaper aftermarket versions – both standard and reinforced.
The aftermarket version Land Rover Defender Puma Bonnet is made of GRP – Glass Reinforced Plastic with steel fixtures for original fasteners; it is durable and flexible for heavy use. It is light-weight compared to original aluminium Defender bonnets – the net weight is 10KG. Noise transmission is much less than the OEM aluminium version. It will reduce the engine noise.
NOTE : Both types are unfinished – meaning they require some filling, primer and top coats of paint.

"DEFENDER" Bonnet Raised 3D Lettering Matt Decals - for Puma Bonnets
This bonnet decal kit includes the letters:
D E F E N D E R
These letters are the same thickness, size and dimensions as the letters used on the the new 2020 Defender models.
Comes with a fitting template, to space out the letters correctly.
Comes pre-fitted with automotive grade self adhesive tape and the lettering is made from ABS plastic (same as the genuine lettering)
Available in Matt Black only.
Note, this is NOT genuine lettering from Land Rover.
Fitting Details:
Remove the original lettering from the bonnet of your vehicle.
Clean the area of the bonnet to fit the lettering as best you can.
Place the new template on the bonnet ensuring the center markers on the template are in the center of the bonnet.
Peel off the backing from the lettering adhesive and position the lettering into position and press firmly.
