We sell Land Rover Defender Snorkel Kits (also known as a Raised Air Intake). Snorkels protect engines from the damaging effects of water, dust and sand encountered in touring and off-roading.

Snorkel kit versions for Land Rover Defender 200TDI (left hand fitting kit) and 300TDI, TD5 and TDCI Puma (right hand fitting kit). Snorkel Kits are original Land Rover part number STC50265. For the 300TDI, TD5 and Puma we supply a right-hand bracket.

Roll-cage Snorkel – We also make a Defender Snorkel Kit version for Defenders with roll cages – the lower fitting is different to standard as it protrudes slightly more to accommodate for the position of the roll-cage tubing. The Masai Land Rover Defender Roll Cage Snorkel Kit is available for left hand side 200TDI and right hand 300TDI, TD5 and TDCI Puma.

Mountney Steering Wheel Boss - for Mountney Steering Wheels - for Defenders with 36 or 48 Spline

3 Options:

  • 36 splines, 16mm shaft, for 90/110 Defender up to HA and from 1A, 4659. This is not drilled, pins are spaced at 28mm across, centre of splines casting is raised by 5mm.
  • 36 splines, 16mm shaft, for 90/110 Defender up to HA and from 1A, 4661. This is drilled and has a contact plate. Pins are spaced at 38mm across, flat centre.
  • 48 splines, 19mm shaft, Defender - JA onwards up to 2014, Series 2, Series 2A & Series 3
