We sell Land Rover Defender Snorkel Kits (also known as a Raised Air Intake). Snorkels protect engines from the damaging effects of water, dust and sand encountered in touring and off-roading.

Snorkel kit versions for Land Rover Defender 200TDI (left hand fitting kit) and 300TDI, TD5 and TDCI Puma (right hand fitting kit). Snorkel Kits are original Land Rover part number STC50265. For the 300TDI, TD5 and Puma we supply a right-hand bracket.

Roll-cage Snorkel – We also make a Defender Snorkel Kit version for Defenders with roll cages – the lower fitting is different to standard as it protrudes slightly more to accommodate for the position of the roll-cage tubing. The Masai Land Rover Defender Roll Cage Snorkel Kit is available for left hand side 200TDI and right hand 300TDI, TD5 and TDCI Puma.

Land Rover Defender 200TDi - The supplied bracket kit fits the snorkel on the left hand side.

Land Rover Defender 300TDi/TD5/TDCi Puma - The supplied bracket kit fits the snorkel on the right hand side.

NOTE: Please check which side your air intake is, and order appropriately.

A Snorkel, also known as a Raised Air Intake, protects Defender engines from the damaging effects of water, dust and sand encountered in touring and off-roading

  • 70mm diameter tube (some other tubes on the market are 64mm).
  • The Masai Mushroom-top has a cyclonic pre-cleaner - Integrated fins create a pre-cleaning centrifugal effect to reduce the intake of sand/dust particles.

  • Zinc plated steel air intake tube and side bracket.
