Its made from heavy duty 6mm thick mild steel with zinc plating. This Defender Steering Guard is very easy to fit, it bolts onto the chassis. Our Land Rover Defender Steering Guard kit includes stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers fitting kit. Standard finish is zinc plating but can easily also be spray painted prior to fitting. Fir tree trim fastener, used for holding the interior trim in place on later Defenders. This is the dark grey type, Land Rovers trim colour dark granite. Mid grey was also used on earlier vehicles but is no longer available.
