Its made from heavy duty 6mm thick mild steel with zinc plating. This Defender Steering Guard is very easy to fit, it bolts onto the chassis. Our Land Rover Defender Steering Guard kit includes stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers fitting kit. Standard finish is zinc plating but can easily also be spray painted prior to fitting.   • This Defender roof rack is ideal for roof tents.
  • Steel base, then zinc plated and then painted with black automotive powder coat paint for rust protection.
  • All fittings included (nuts and bolts) are stainless steel.
  • Self-Assembly from flat pack. Very easy to assemble.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PROTECT YOUR PAINTWORK WHEN POSITIONING THE ROOF RACK ONTO THE ROOF. Protect the whole of your roof and roof sides with a blanket and use at least two people (preferably tall) to position in place prior to attaching the brackets to the legs.
