Its made from heavy duty 6mm thick mild steel with zinc plating. This Defender Steering Guard is very easy to fit, it bolts onto the chassis. Our Land Rover Defender Steering Guard kit includes stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers fitting kit. Standard finish is zinc plating but can easily also be spray painted prior to fitting. Less than 5 minutes to fit and all you need is a drill for the fixings. Kit includes a pair of corner protectors and 8 flanged steel self drill black fixings. These will also fit a Series 2 & 3 but will require matching drilling to accommodate seat rail fixing.
