Heated Windscreen Wiring Kit with Switch for Land Rover Defender

You can retro fit a heated windscreen into your Defender using this wiring kit, and we offer two versions depending on the age of your Defender.

• Available with a genuine Land Rover OEM switch suitable for TD5 and Puma (2002-2016) (part number YUG000460LNF and female connector YPC10524), or a Carling Contura switch suitable for earlier dash boards (Pre 2002) - (requires mounting).
• The third option, rocker type switch is for earlier Defenders (200TDi, 300TDi & early TD5s) with no space in the dash area for carling switches. See photos above. The switch fits to the right of the steering wheel underneath the instruments panel.
• The rocker type switch wiring kit can also be connected to heated wing mirrors as well. It is on a 10 minute timer once activated. But can be manually switched off as well.
• Land Rover Defender Windscreen Wiring Harness kit suitable for windscreens with 2 tab wires on each corner.
• Kit requires minimal connections such as positive and negative power, ignition, live and illumination live.
• Rated at 20A with a 10 minute timer relay and suitable for Land Rover heated windscreen part number CMB000411 or equivalent.
• Comes with 500mm power cable from relay to battery. Battery end connection is fitted with a M8 ring terminal.
• Heated screen supply cable is 3m long from relay to the screen terminals with insulated female spade.
• Screen earth cable is 500mm and has a female spade and M8 ring terminal.
