We have both genuine OEM Land Rover Puma Bonnets made of aluminium (part number BKA710140), and cheaper aftermarket versions – both standard and reinforced.
The aftermarket version Land Rover Defender Puma Bonnet is made of GRP – Glass Reinforced Plastic with steel fixtures for original fasteners; it is durable and flexible for heavy use. It is light-weight compared to original aluminium Defender bonnets – the net weight is 10KG. Noise transmission is much less than the OEM aluminium version. It will reduce the engine noise.
NOTE : Both types are unfinished – meaning they require some filling, primer and top coats of paint.

Sold as a pair.
Made from heavy duty steel, zinc coated and phosphate painted for longer lasting rust protection.
Painted with a black powder coat in a satin finish.
Attractive "Masai" branded tread plate, made of rubber and brushed aluminium. Choice of various colours. (ORANGE LOGO IS REMOVABLE, as it is just a coloured metal plate under the main plates)
Easy to fit DIY (Instructions supplied, see link below)
Attaches with bolts and no drilling is required.
Clamps to the chassis outriggers.
Not an original Land Rover Part.
NOTE: the 110 2 door version needs an extra bracket, hence the higher price.
Fire and Ice Side Steps for 90 will also fit the older version 300 TDI defenders with the fuel tank on the side.
